Bevrijdings Festival.

Bevrijdingsdag is a day of reflection on Germany’s occupation of The Netherlands, and celebrating the veterans who fought to end it. The Bevrijdingsfestival hosts a variety of artists and activites for all age groups. Attracting artists like Danny Vera, Hannah Mae, Bente, and of course, an appearance from Mayor Jan van Zanen by helicopter. After the torch was set aflame, the performances drew thousands to Malieveld.
